How pharmacy licensing works in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire licenses pharmacists through the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, which also offers licensure by endorsement for people licensed elsewhere. It also has a three-tier technician system that runs up to an advanced pharmacy technician license.
NAPLEX plus the New Hampshire MPJE
New pharmacists pass the NAPLEX and the New Hampshire MPJE, and state law calls for one year (1,500 hours) of internship experience.
Licensure by endorsement
Pharmacists with an active license in good standing in another state can apply by endorsement through the OPLC, which encourages applicants to use NABP's electronic license transfer program.
Registered or certified
New Hampshire has registered and certified pharmacy technicians. Certified technicians must hold and keep national certification, such as PTCB or NHA, and apply to the board within 15 days of starting work.
Advanced pharmacy technician license
Certified technicians with 2,000 hours of experience can become advanced pharmacy technicians by completing four advanced certification programs, including product verification and immunization, and a jurisprudence exam.
