An independent community pharmacy in the Greater Los Angeles area is expanding its non-sterile compounding work and needs a seasoned Compounding Technician to help lead the lab. You will have real input on formulas, workflow, and quality, not just a spot on the line.

Specific Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on compounding experience in a retail or community pharmacy (required)
- Solid working knowledge of USP 795 and USP 800
- Precise, organized, and proud of your documentation
- Comfortable juggling priorities in a busy lab without cutting corners
- Dependable, flexible, and team-first
Responsible For
- Prepare non-sterile compounds, including HRT, topicals, capsules, and specialty preparations, in line with USP 795 and USP 800
- Operate compounding lab equipment and precision scales
- Build new formulas from reference formulas and prescriber requests, and keep existing ones up to date
- Order APIs and excipients from major compounding suppliers
- Keep hazardous drug documentation and compliance records audit-ready
- Log temperatures, scale calibrations, cleaning, and maintenance
- Switch gears quickly when a patient is waiting on an urgent compound
Additional Requirements
- California Pharmacy Technician License preferred
- Able to work on site in the Greater Los Angeles area
