Director of Pharmacy
Overview
Ready for the top pharmacy job without giving up the clinical side? Plenty of director roles move you off the floor and into meetings for good. This one doesn't. You'll hold the title and make the calls that come with it, and you'll still use your clinical skills with patients.
This home infusion pharmacy in the East Bay needs a leader who can run the operation and still step in as a clinician. You'll set the direction for the pharmacy team, keep clean room and sterile compounding standards high, and help shape the budget and performance goals. You'll also stay close to the patients getting IV therapy at home, working as a clinical pharmacist when they or the team need you. It's a full-time, on-site role in Pleasanton for someone who already knows home infusion inside and out and is ready for the next step up.
Specific Skills
- Current, unrestricted California pharmacist license
- 5+ years of pharmacy operations experience, including clinical home infusion
- an unrestricted Pharmacist license in California (Preferred)
Responsible For
- People. Hire, train, and grow a strong pharmacy team, and manage performance day to day
- Sterile compounding. Own clean room standards and keep them high
- Patient care. Work as a clinical pharmacist when patients and the team need you
- Business. Help shape the pharmacy's budget and performance goals
Additional Requirements
- How many years of pharmacy and nursing operations and clinical pharmacy experience in home infusion therapy do you have?
- Do you have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or a Master of Science in Pharmacy)
- Have you supervised or managed pharmacy staff?

- $175,000 to $185,000 base
