Want to run a pharmacy where you actually have time for your patients, and still have your evenings and Sundays? This Pharmacist in Charge role is one of those rare ones.
Our client is an established community pharmacy in Bolivar, TN, about 30 minutes from Jackson. Patients know the pharmacist by name and expect to be looked after properly, not rushed through a line. You would be taking over a pharmacy that already runs well, with a strong team in place, so your days go on leading the pharmacy and caring for patients rather than covering gaps.

- Closed every Sunday. Daytime hours only: weekdays 8:30am to 6:00pm, Saturdays 8:30am to 2:00pm.

Specific Skills
- Retail pharmacy experience
- At least 1 year as a PIC, pharmacy manager, or team lead
- Strong verification skills and a good working knowledge of pharmacy law
- A people-first approach with patients and staff
Responsible For
- Run the pharmacy day to day, from opening to close
- Keep the pharmacy compliant with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy and federal rules, including controlled substance records
- Lead and develop your pharmacists and technicians
- Set workflow so the team stays efficient without cutting corners on safety
- Verify prescriptions and counsel patients
- Work with local prescribers to resolve issues quickly
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Keep records inspection-ready and lead the pharmacy through board inspections
Additional Requirements
- Active Tennessee pharmacist license, or the ability to obtain one
- Able to work on site in Bolivar, TN (commutable from Jackson)
