About the Role

As a Nuclear Pharmacist, you’ll play a key role in the daily operation of the pharmacy, overseeing radiopharmaceutical preparation, radiolabeling, quality control, and unit-dose packaging.

You’ll also supervise pharmacy technicians and couriers while taking ownership of radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

Specific Skills
 
  • Completion of Authorized User program with 500 hours of experiential training
  • Minimum of 2+ years of nuclear pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of USP <825> standards
  • RSO experience preferred
  • Experience with BioRX/RMIS or similar systems preferred
Responsible For
  • Oversee daily nuclear pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
  • Prepare and compound radiopharmaceuticals, including radiolabeling procedures
  • Perform and oversee quality control testing to ensure product safety and accuracy
  • Supervise unit-dose packaging and preparation for shipment
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and couriers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee radiation safety and quality assurance programs
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and USP <825> standards
  • Manage expired product disposal and compliance processes
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ordering, and reconciliation
  • Support financial monitoring, including expense tracking and variance reporting
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process orders within pharmacy systems
  • Support after-hours coverage and emergency response as needed
