Director of Pharmacy Operations – Houston, TX

Quad Recruitment is looking for an experienced pharmacy leader to join one of the nation's leading compounding pharmacies at their facility in Houston, TX.

• $200,000 - $220,000 DOE
• $15,000 Sign on Bonus
• 15% Annual Bonus ( $30,000 - $33,000)
• 40 hours a week - Flexible Schedule

• Total First Year Earnings - $245,000 - $268,000

Position Summary:
 
The Director of Pharmacy Operations will support efforts to satisfy new and current customer expectations by successfully overseeing the multi-shift pharmacy distribution services. The Director will play a vital role in continuously moving operations from manual to automated. If you have Automation experience and have worked in large facilities with high-volume prescriptions, this is for you. 

• The DOP does not need to be a Pharmacist
• You will be overlooking 503A only
• Overlooking 200+ Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
• You will have 10 direct reports

Requirements:

• Experience transitioning pharmacy operations from manual to automated
• Lean Six Sigma Improvement Approach
• Experience working with high-volume prescriptions – 10,000 a day
• 5 years of management experience
• Central Fill Experience
