Specialty Infusion Manager (Sales)
Overview
A national home infusion provider that's growing quickly is adding a Specialty Infusion Manager for the Toledo territory. The job is simple to describe and hard to do well: get physicians, clinics and payors referring their chronic and IVIG infusion patients to you, and keep them doing it.
You'll own the territory. That means building your own relationships with the practices that matter, working out where the referrals are, and making sure every patient you bring in is looked after properly by the pharmacy, nursing and intake teams behind you.
Specific Skills
- At least 1 year selling home infusion services – this is a must, not a nice-to-have
- Existing relationships with physicians, clinics or payors in the territory
- A track record of hitting revenue and referral targets
- A working understanding of healthcare reimbursement
- Comfortable working on your own, on the road, most of the week
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience counts just as much
Responsible For
- Winning referrals for chronic and IVIG therapies from physicians, clinics and payors
- Planning your territory – where to spend your time, which accounts to grow, where the new business is
- Running provider meetings, presentations and in-service education
- Working closely with pharmacy, nursing, intake and ops so patients start therapy without a hitch
- Supporting sales and marketing pushes to raise awareness of the specialty infusion service
- Sorting out service issues quickly when they come up, so the relationship holds
- Keeping call reports, expenses and sales activity up to date
- Staying current on the disease states, therapies and reimbursement rules that matter
