Pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)

Successful completion of this program will prepare you for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) offered through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Once you’ve passed the PTCE, you’ll effectively be deemed qualified and ready to begin working as a pharmacy technician.
Obtain a Pharmacy technician license
Each state has its own requirements for obtaining a pharmacy technician license. Be sure to check with the state board of pharmacy in the state where you want to work for more information. Once you do have your license issued, you’re ready to begin applying for a pharmacy technician job.
