Position: Pharmacy Operations and Performance Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £57,349 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours with flexible starting times (8 hours shifts)

For the position, previous management experience is essential as we want this person to be at the forefront of the team, leading colleagues to success.
 
Key role highlights:

  • Lead operational and business planning for pharmacy services.
  • Collaborate with the Chief pharmacist on strategic planning and budgeting for technical services.
  • Be an integral part of the core senior leadership team whilst leading the operations managed by senior technicians and clinical staff.
  • Lead projects and support hospital teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Support management and staff with day to day operations.

  • Band 8a salary – Up to £57,349 per year.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in a hospital setting – if you’re already in a senior position then 2-3 years of experience in sufficient.
  • Staff management experience with the desire to manage a department.
  • Registered with the GPhC.
  • Be enthusiastic and have the desire for self development.

It is pivotal you have the desire to see your team succeed and develop with your expert guidance. You will manage and develop staff, undertake performance reviews, and contribute to the recruitment, induction, and mentorship of staff.
