Pharmacy Team Leader – Join our partner who is a GLOBAL pharmaceutical company!
Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician or NQ Pharmacist with management experience looking to take the next step in your career?
We are looking for a Pharmacy Team Leader to join our partner's Pharmacy department at their main distribution and operations center in Runcorn, where you will play a key role in managing and leading a talented team of Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians, and Pharmacists.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of lifesaving medicines while ensuring the highest standards of care and efficiency in the processing of prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities -
- Oversee and manage a team of Dispensers, ACTs, and Pharmacists, ensuring optimal performance and the highest quality standards across all areas of dispensing, prescription processing, and checking.
- Support the Head of Pharmacy Services by undertaking dispensing and checking duties for homecare patients.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Patient Services, Warehouse, and Production to meet patient requirements efficiently.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to ensure performance standards and development goals are met.
- Resolve queries in a timely manner relating to prescription processing or clinical governance.
- Review and complete SOPs and manage other tasks such as system reviews.
Who We're Looking For -
- A registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist with experience in managing a team and a passion for improving business processes.
- Previous experience in a managerial role is highly desirable, with a proven track record of implementing improvements and developing teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
