Responsibilities -

  • Drive the success of the pharmacy by leading with expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to patient care.
  • Actively promote and expand Pharmacy First consultations, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care while increasing service uptake.
  • Maximize opportunities within NHS and private services, including minor ailments, vaccinations, and medication reviews, to enhance patient outcomes and business performance.
  • Oversee all daily pharmacy operations, ensuring seamless workflows, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery.
  • Provide expert clinical advice, ensuring safe and effective medication use while positioning the pharmacy as a trusted healthcare provider in the community.
  • Manage, mentor, and empower the pharmacy team, creating a high-performance culture focused on patient care and service excellence.
  • Identify new service opportunities, implement strategies to increase footfall, and optimise prescription volume to strengthen financial performance.
  • Ensure accurate dispensing, thorough patient consultations, and full adherence to legal and professional standards.
  • Build strong relationships with local GP surgeries, healthcare providers, and patients to establish the pharmacy as the first point of contact for healthcare advice and treatment.

What We’re Looking For -

  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC registration.
  • Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting, ideally in a managerial or leadership role.
  • A strong understanding of Pharmacy First and a passion for expanding its services.
  • A commercially minded approach with experience in driving revenue growth and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with patients, GP surgeries, and healthcare providers.
  • A commitment to clinical excellence, compliance, and patient safety.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency
