We're supporting a prestigious private healthcare provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Specialist Oncology Pharmacist to support the delivery of cancer services at a high-performing hospital site based in Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to lead on oncology pharmacy services in a hospital renowned for clinical innovation, advanced treatment pathways, and outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities -
- Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services within oncology and chemotherapy settings
- Manage medicines reconciliation, ensure prescribing safety, and contribute to treatment planning
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams across inpatient and outpatient departments
- Provide guidance aligned with GMC standards and regulatory frameworks
- Support patients directly with medication counselling and safety education

What We're Looking For -
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
- Minimum 3 year's experience in an oncology
- Comprehensive understanding of chemotherapy regimens, SACT protocols, and aseptic techniques
- Up-to-date working knowledge of GMC guidance, clinical governance, and cancer treatment protocols
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills in a clinical environment
