About the Role -
We are searching a Non-Pharmacist Manager / Assistant Manager to join our partners well-structured and supportive team in Prestwich.
You will be working for a small, independent group of community pharmacies across Manchester and Greater Manchester, led by a pharmacist director who understands the industry from the ground up.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and well-equipped environment where patient care and staff development are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities -
- Supporting the Pharmacist Manager in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
- Overseeing and assisting a well-structured team, including counter assistants, dispensers, a care home team, and a blister pack team.
- Ensuring the pharmacy maintains its high standards of service and compliance.
- Helping to manage workflow, stock control, and modern technology systems within the pharmacy.
- Providing excellent customer service and support the pharmacist in conducting pharmacy first services
- Encouraging staff training, development, and well-being to ensure the team performs at its best.
What They Offer -
- Highly competitive salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
- Full-time position | 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM.

About You -
We are looking for a motivated and experienced pharmacy dispenser or accuracy checker with management experience. The ideal candidate will:
- NVQ level 2 or 3 within pharmacy services
- Desirable - ACT Qualification & Registration
- Have strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Be confident in supporting and managing a team.
- Be passionate about customer service and patient care.
- Have a good understanding of pharmacy operations and compliance.
- Be eager to develop their career within a growing pharmacy group.
